The Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University achieved the first three places in Arab and Egyptian qualifications of Remotely Operated Vehicle competition. The qualifications were held on Saturday 14 April 2018 in Arab Academy for Science Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT). Forty three teams participated in these qualifications from all Egyptian universities in addition to 8 teams from Arab countries. "Vortex Tightens" team won the first place while the team "Made in Alex" came second and "Turbido" team came in the third place. The first and second teams will represent Egypt in the finals that will be held in Seattle-USA in coming June.

Alexandria University continue superiority in this field as it won the third place in last yearfinals.
