Dr. Essam El-Kurdi, the President of Alexandria University congratulated the winning students in the student elections. The elections resulted in Ali Samir Mohammad from the Faculty of Fine Arts as the President of the Students Union and Moamen Awni Soliman from the Faculty of Agriculture – Matroh branch the vice president of the Union.

The elections were don in attendance of Dr. Hisham Gaber, AU Vice President for Education and Students Affairs and under supervision of elections committee through a voting between presidents and vice presidents of the student unions in Alexandria faculties.

Mr. Mahmoud Gamal, the General Manager of Youth Care declared that the elections of secretaries and assistant secretaries of the higher students committees have ended and resulted in the student Khaled Shehata from Faculty of Arts, as the Secretary of the Committee of Families and the student Alaa Ahmad from the Faculty of Agriculture as Assistant Secretary.

He said that the student Salma Kuraytm was elected as Secretary of the Committee of Sports Activities and Karim Salem as Assistant Secretary. The student Amr Ramadan from the Faculty of Pharmacy was elected as Secretary of the Committee of Culture and Media and Mohammad Naeem as Assistant Secretary. The student Mohamed Lotfi was elected as Secretary of Arts Committee and Ahmad Abdel Sabour as Assistant Secretary. The student Moataz Abu Bakr was elected as Secretary of the Committee of Scout and Omar Khafaja as Assistant Secretary.

Also the student Mazen El Sayed was elected as Secretary of the Social committee and Mai Mahmoud as Assistant Secretary while and the student Eyad Abdel Kader was elected as Secretary of the Scientific Committee Aya Abdel Radi as Assistant Secretary.
